Oh GREAT! 

My first day in the small town of Cedar Grove and already I’m stuck sharing an office with a grumpy, short-tempered guy who’s the editor of the local newspaper.

I didn’t ask for this!  Yeah sure, he’s a sexy guy, but looks can be deceiving.

This jerk mistook me for his bumbling mail clerk this morning and treated me like dirt!  I don’t even work for him.   I’m still fuming.

Things are tense, awkward, and frustrating.  You could cut the tension with a knife!

As we end up working together on the town’s annual fund-raiser, all that animosity begins to turn into something different. Something I didn’t see before.

I know this forced proximity with him is only temporary. More and more though, I can’t wait for the next day at the office!

Is this what they call romance? How can two totally opposite people actually make it work?   I’ve never been in a serious relationship before, and as I learn later, neither has Alex.  I’m scared!

Is this budding romance doomed to fail from the start?  Should I walk away while I still can?
